Marijuana addiction, also known as cannabis use disorder, occurs when an individual becomes physically and psychologically dependent on marijuana. Although marijuana is often considered less harmful than other drugs, regular use can lead to addiction, especially when it interferes with daily life, responsibilities, and overall well-being. Individuals with marijuana addiction may experience cravings, increased tolerance (needing more of the drug to feel the same effects), and withdrawal symptoms when they attempt to quit. While marijuana addiction may not carry the same immediate physical dangers as other substances, it can still have a profound impact on a person’s emotional health, relationships, and overall life quality. At Warsaw Recovery Center, we offer specialized treatment programs to help individuals overcome marijuana addiction and regain control of their lives.
